Electronic Markets Lab
Lauched in summer 2003, The Electronic Markets Lab provides researchers and
students a working environment
to do researches and studied on Electronic Markets related areas.
The lab includes both new information technology resources for conducting
computer-aided experiments on Electronic Market. The main lab space,
in 3518 Van Munching Hall, provides videotaping capabilities,
networked workstations and servers, multimedia projector,
and different software applications designed for conducting Electronic Markets research.
By participating in faculty research,
students at the Smith School have the opportunity to observe first-hand
how experimental research is conducted. In addition, the lab increases
faculty research productivity and facilitates interaction among
the school's Electronic Markets researchers.
The Netcentric eMarkets Lab is the fourth major component of the business
school’s Netcentricity Laboratory. The Net Lab’s Supply Chain Laboratory opened
in 2000, the Netcentric Financial Markets Lab opened in fall 2001, the behavior lab in Spring 2003.
